On your iPhone

In this first version, bookmarks, likes, private notes, vocabulary and practice history stay on your device. Cloud account synchronization and advertising trackers are not enabled. You can export or clear your library in Settings.

Audio

Read aloud uses your device’s system voice. Practice recordings are temporary, remain on the device and are never uploaded by ChinaStoryAtlas. Stopping, leaving the recording screen or backgrounding the app ends recording.

Website and content delivery

Content requests are processed through Cloudflare. Network information, including IP addresses and technical request metadata, may be processed for delivery, security and operational diagnostics. This website has no advertising or behavioural tracking scripts.

External sources

Opening a source link takes you to another provider. Its privacy practices apply there. Source links do not transfer your private library.
